Today Myrinet announced the release of their new 10 Gigabit Myrinet / Ethernet Technology (Myri-10G). Sporting a fast 2 microsecond latency, Myri-10G has a much lower latency than competing 10G solutions. Did I mention it is also a fairly cheap solution.

On a related note, Myrinet also released their newest software version, MX-2G 1.0. It offers faster latency than the previous GM-2 Software.
