ANNOUNCES S-ATA II SUPPORT FOR ITS LINE OF NAS STORAGE AND SERVERS Edmonton, Alberta, Canada — 12:00AM MST, March 17th, 2005 — Hard Data Ltd. today announced that its line of servers, and NAS storage now support LSI Logic™’s new MegaRAID™ SATA 300-8x Eight-port SATA II RAID storage adapter. Hard Data’s line of Linux based storage products can now be ordered with S-ATA II controller support. This allows its customer to upgrade to S-ATA II drives when they hit the market later this year. “We at Hard Data are really impressed with the performance of the new LSI Logic S-ATA II RAID controller,” said Mark Lane, sales manager, Hard Data. “LSI has raised the bar by improving performance and lowering the cost of S-ATA RAID.” Hard Data builds NAS servers which provide flexibility and a wide range of client OS support. By remaining Linux Compliant, Hard Data NAS boxes are able to support Windows, Mac, Unix and of course Linux Clients.
