Myrinet's new single port F-Card has a latency of only 2.6us using the Myrinet Express Software beta (MX-2G-Beta). This is a full 0.9 us seconds faster than D cards and a 0.1us faster than dual port E cards. The cards are available now and bring with them a drop in D, E cards pricing as well.
