HardData - Distributed Clustering Services

HD-DCS is an up to date packaging of a current Beowulf model.

Currently Based on RedHat's recent Fedora Core 3 release, this distribution provides:

• HD-DCS Installer - A configurable GUI installer that is designed to work on a standard RedHat install, or as a stand-alone installation
• Remote boot options including Pxeboot or boot floppy/cd
• Both Alpha and x86 architecture support
• Current Bproc Software used, including beoboot, and the btools set
• Maui Cluster Scheduler
• MPI support with MPICH and GMPICH
• Support Modules for Myrinet, Dolphin Wulfkit, Ethernet interconnects
• Custom Kernel Support: Allows you to build your own kernels after simply including a few necessary and provided modules and drivers

• Newer versions of clustering software such as Bproc
• Support for Dolphin Wulfkit Interconnects
• Support for newer versions of RedHat
