HardData - Distributed Clustering Services
HD-DCS is an up to date packaging of a current Beowulf model.
Currently Based on RedHat's recent Fedora Core 3 release, this distribution provides:
- HD-DCS Installer - A configurable GUI installer that is designed to work on a standard RedHat install, or as a stand-alone installation
- Remote boot options including Pxeboot or boot floppy/cd
- Both Alpha and x86 architecture support
- Current Bproc Software used, including beoboot, and the btools set
- Maui Cluster Scheduler
- MPI support with MPICH and GMPICH
- Support Modules for Myrinet, Dolphin Wulfkit, Ethernet interconnects
- Custom Kernel Support: Allows you to build your own kernels after simply including a few necessary and provided modules and drivers
DCS has these Advantages:
