Personal Computer Cases have come a long way since those bulky IBM PCs hit the market in July of 1980. We've seen massive desktop cases that eat up your desk and mini-towers, which you can hide away in a specially made desk drawer. Oh yeah there's the Cow PCs from Gateway as well. And How about Apple's 20th Anniversary Mac with Corinthian Leather?

We at Hard Data believe that the case is more than an esthetic cover for your computer but a vital component.

A Good Case should protect its contents and provide excellent airflow to prevent over heating. It should be appealing to the eye but not at the cost of easy of maintenance and upgrading. It should support several drive bays and should not cost the consumer an arm and a leg.

Hey what about Power? Don't Cases come with Power?

Yes, some cases come with power supplies in them. Hard Data believes that you match the power to the system and not to the case so often we buy our power separate from the cases.

We have some very good power supplies available from such top manufacturers as Zippy/Emacs, Enermax and NMB.
