Pentium 4 Xeon

Intel Xeon processor-based servers , featuring Intel® NetBurst™ microarchitecture and Hyper-Threading Technology, provide the perfect upgrade path from Pentium® III and Pentium® III Xeon™ processor-based servers. Along with the Intel® E7501 chipset, these balanced server platforms based on the Intel® Xeon™ processor with 533 MHz system bus and 512KB L2 Cache, provide outstanding performance and headroom for peak front-end and departmental workloads resulting in faster response times, support for more users, and enhanced scalability.

Itanium 2

The Itanium 2 processor builds on and extends the foundation established with the Itanium architecture. It is binary-compatible with software compiled for the first-generation Itanium processor and is expected to increase performance by 50 to 100 percent.
