Backing up data is an important process, which all computer users should take seriously. A power spike, drive head crash or virus can wipe out your data in a short period of time. Recovery can require a minimum of specialized software or be as complicated as looking at the platters under an electron microscope. As such, file recovery can quickly become expensive if at all possible. Why take the chance?
